1. Information we collect

We collect your phone number for sign-up, your chosen display name and optional profile picture, messages you exchange with friends, and metadata about voice rooms you create or join. We do not record or store voice audio — voice data is peer-to-peer (WebRTC) and never touches our servers.

2. How we use your data

Authenticate you securely using your phone number.
Show your profile to friends and people you may know.
Enable real-time messaging and presence (online status).
Improve safety: detect spam, abuse, and policy violations.

3. Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share information only with service providers required to run the app (e.g. cloud database hosting), and with law enforcement if legally compelled.

4. Your rights (GDPR / India DPDP Act)

You can edit your profile any time. You can permanently delete your account from Profile → Delete Account. Deletion removes your profile, messages, friendships, and voice room history within 30 days.

5. Children

Friend Adda is for users 13+. If you are under 18, please use the app with parental guidance.
